Developing Demand Response Programs and Market

Demand Response (DR) programs and markets are being studied and developed to help increasing the efficiency of the generatione specially with high penetration of renewable energies into the electric grid. This talk is divided into two main sections as they are being studied in Renewable Energy Design Laboratory (REDLab) of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. First section is a theoretical framework of DR market and the second section is a realistic tested to verify the method.
